Saravanan is a certified yoga teacher in Chennai. Saravanan’s teaching is very dynamic. Because his emphasis on alignment and pose integrity, it allows students to safely deepen their practice and build full body strength and control. Besides they gain a rich understanding of classical yoga postures. In fact, the classes which he has developed over the years through his own experimentation and study of yoga, increase body awareness and encourage self-evolution.

Firstly, Saravanan’s warm and helpful nature creates space for students to realize the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of the practice. Moreover, staying fit was always very important to Saravanan. He can be frequently spotted at the gym, cycling along the beach or running long distances. Yet, he always felt that there was something missing. Because he yearned not just for the fitness of the body, but the  tranquility  of his mind and soul. It was then, that he started his journey of Yoga.

His students also benefit from his incredible wisdom and in-depth understanding of yoga anatomy and alignment. Saravanan’s teaching is the result of years of study in Ashtanga Style. He also has a diverse background of movement modalities.

Saravanan has trained from various world renowned institutes. This includes Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy and the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre. He has also acquired the prestigious title of Yoga Acharya (Master of Yoga). In addition to being one of  the practitioner of yoga, he also travels teaching and assisting his Swamis for the international Sivananda Vedanta Yoga projects around the world. Consequently, Saravanan believes Yoga is a method to free yourself in the world and to be happier and more genuine and more connected to things around you.
