Saravanan’s teaching is very dynamic, and his emphasis on alignment and pose integrity allows students to safely deepen their practice and build full body strength and control – all while gaining a rich understanding of classical Ashtanga nuanced yoga postures.

Saravanan’s warm and helpful nature creates space for students to realize the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of the practice. Staying fit was always very important to Saravanan, who could be spotted at the gym, cycling along the beach or running long distances. Yet, he always felt that there was something missing. He yearned not just for the fitness of the body, but the  tranquility  of his mind and soul. It was then, that he started his journey of Yoga.

Known for his incredible wisdom and in-depth understanding of yoga anatomy and alignment, Saravanan’s teaching is informed by years of study in Ashtanga Style and diverse background of movement modalities.

Saravanan has trained from various world renowned institutes like Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy, The International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre and has acquired the prestigious title of Yoga Acharya (Master of Yoga). He currently travels teaching and assisting his Swamis for the international Sivananda Vedanta Yoga projects around the world.
