Rashmi Prithviraj – Clearly, her classes expound what yoga means to her. In fact, her personal style evolved over 7 years of training, personal practice, and teaching. Her classes put students on the path of self-knowledge. Eventually, she believes that self-discovery and developmental repatterning is through the body-mind relationship.

Her belief that you change the quality of your life by changing the quality of your mind reverberates through her classes. She describes her classes as meditation in motion. She takes you through simple asanas for developing a stronger and more flexible body. This is done while constantly focusing inwards to a heightened level of consciousness. A sudden decision with a friend to join yoga classes, got her into her first yoga class. So profound was her experience that  continued and completed her Teacher training from Yoga Rakshanam. 

Teaching since then, she completed a 90Hrs Master Class for Yoga Teachers from Kaivalyadhama, Lonavla, taking her further into advanced study and completing a 100Hr Advanced Teacher Training Program in Vinyasa Krama Yoga under the renowned Srivatsa Ramaswami. Her prime interest lies in yoga philosophy and the mind–body complex, leading her to get a Master’s in Psychology. Consequently, her classes focus on aligning the body and opening it so that the organs, the bones, and the breath can function freely. 

When Rashmi Prithviraj  is not teaching yoga, she is either practicing, reading, cooking, or concocting natural skincare.
