Meet Geetha: Firstly, Monad is an initiative taken by Geetha M Kanthasamy, an architect turned Yoga professional to promote the ancient Indian art of Yoga. Besides, Geetha is also known for her clear, precise and exact teaching style. Because she weaves together her depth of understanding and years of experience beautifully, it makes yoga accessible to students of all levels.
Geetha is a Level 3 QCI Yoga Teacher
According to her students: Geetha’s compassionate dedication to yoga inspires and holds space for students at Monad. It also helps to take the journey deeper into body, mind and soul than they ever could have ever imagined.
Geetha is a certified Yoga teacher trained in the tradition of Shri Krishnamacharya. She has done 500+ hours of teacher training in Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram, Chennai. And also a 100 hour Advanced teacher training program in Vinyasa Krama Yoga from Shri Srivatsa Ramaswami. He is direct disciple of Shri Krishnamacharya.
Besides, she has undergone 500 hours Yoga Therapy from International Yoga Academy. This is at Asana Andiappan College of Yoga. Geetha is also a Level 3 QCI Yoga teacher and Evaluator, certified by Ministry of Ayush, India. She is a Yoga alliance registered teacher holding ERYT200, RYT500, YACEP certifications.
Moreover, Geetha enjoys imparting yogic knowledge to people. She also makes them understand the significance of yoga and how it influences the mind, body and soul. Besides, she believes in customizing yoga for every individual based on their needs and goals. As a result, ‘Yoga is for everyone’ is the main concept at Monad Yoga as the sessions we offer are at varying intensity levels suiting every individual.
