Mantras carry carry a powerful healing vibration which can dispel negative thoughts and help to free your body and mind of any stresses. The sounds of a mantra creates a vibration in our body which helps us manage our energy. High energy levels helps in healing the body and protecting the mind.
What to do if my mind keeps wandering?
It perfectly normal for your mind to wander. Focus on your breath, bringing your attention back to meditation is part of the process. It will improve as you practice.
Can mantras be dangerous?
No. Not if you are consciously or unconsciously repeating positive thought vibrations. Just ensure that the thought vibrations are positive, healing, supportive and expansive.
Why are mantras chanted at 108 times?
Vedic culture viewed 108 as a significant number as it connects the Sun, Moon, and Earth: The average distance of the Sun and the Moon to Earth is 108 times their respective diameters. Thus, to recite a mantra 108 times is said to help bring in harmony with the vibrations of the universe.
Is “aum” a mantra?
